"If Nothing Changes... Nothing Changes"
To empower people to succeed...
Our beliefs, values and personal experience drive our mission.
Providing effective means to released inmates and the homeless, creating
and inspiring lifelong changes.
We re-connect men and women to their communities in the fight to reduce recidivism and
homelessness. We invest in the lives of not only the ones struggling but the lives of all our
neighbors as well. Proper guidance and direction aides in building the healthy environments for
men and women to thrive, and empower themselves to create lasting change in their own lives.
We believe this will in turn make make our neighborhoods a safer place to live for us all.
Every person should have the opportunity to achieve his/her fullest potential and participate in
and contribute to all aspects of life.
Romans VIII, working in tandem with W.H.I.P, a non-profit organization concerned with re-entry and family reunification, provides those who are involved in the criminal justice system with a variety of services so they have the resources they need to achieve long-term recovery and break the chains of recidivism. Our goal is to provide the tools ex-offenders need to be successful, and remove any obstacles to that success by providing housing, meals, benefit program assistance, clothing, bus passes, rent assistance referrals, hygiene supplies, and referrals to our many community partners who can help our clients return to being productive community members and less likely to return to their criminal behavior.
